After successfully launching Talen Energy as a Fortune 500 Start Up, I find myself separated from Talen after a reorganization. To my colleagues from Talen and past assignments who may come across this blog, I always say that it's been an honor shedding a little blood with you all in building this great enterprise. I've found myself getting involved in a number of engaging activities. I've also found myself working with career coaches to really hone in on what my core value is. I am finding it's an accelerated world out there. For myself, I see a clear roadmap of where I want to be.
I'm blessed with a full time job solving analytics challenges for a large energy company. When I get home, my wife Melissa and I develop web communities. By definition, a web community is simply a website. The ones we build in particular are souped up thanks to our use of Drupal Gardens as a starting point. They generally are integrated with social media like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube. They generally have Google Analytics to monitor site visit patterns. With this starting point, we've worked hard with our customers to understand what they want to accomplish with a web presence.
