Fictional Jedi's aren't the only ones who can move things with their mind. It's a task executed by computer scientists every day. In our world, we can see problems costing the company money or we can see problems keeping the company from recognizing revenue. We picture disparate data sources that if pulled together would provide enough information to resolve a problem. We focus on the problem of bringing these disparate data sources together and we build code to move these data sources closer together. Essentially, we are moving things with our mind. Eventually, we cobble together a solution that accomplishes a goal of saving the company money.
