So I finished reading the SEO section (search engine optimization) of my Google Hacks book and went to look at my Google Page Rank. I was sitting at 0. I looked at a few other pages I started and they were also at 0. One page I did was at a 3. In contrast, my brother in law's page for his camp is at a 4. I did a search for all these blog entries I've been writing for the past 2 years and only 1 came up. I suspect because it had the word controversial in it.

Now that I know something more about 'How It Works'. I will work on expanding the one site I did - LockAndKeyId.com from a 3 to a 4. I will work on expanding this site and my mom's spa site, www.spafloridian.com, from 0's to 3s. I am reading through an E-Commerce/PHP book. I plan to put 2 community sites up by early next year... One for Foreign Trained Dentists living in America...One for people who restore things... It will be called RestorationThrowdown.com.

No wonder Google rejected my application. The probably went to my site an saw I had a 0 page rank. I need to change my blog software because it seems that the spiders are not picking up any of these entries. I also need to come up with more focused, informational topics. I think my white paper which is forever unfinished should be reworked into a series of articles and more focused on 'internet startup incubation' and the decision support environment needed to make it all work.

In the meantime, work is picking up again. I have some part time assignments that need my attention and should occupy me for the rest of the week.
