Reflection on DMG Jeepwillys

Since this is our first project in our internship, it's a good opportunity to see and to try how well we work together. Well, the team is quite used with the setting - working online, communicating via instant messangers. But since working with Drupal is quite new with some, there's still areas for new circumstances.

The first week went well, the week we engaged with the theme conversion. We found ourselves on a roll and are harmoniously working together. During the second week, that's when things start to get a little crazy. It was the start of our OJT in school so that means less time for Drupal. During those times, we were mostly working during the night. That became the period for adjustment - seeing how we should act in terms of our schedule. But in spite of it, gladly, we made it through.

Some good points to mention. The site itself may be considered as one though I must admit, it really needs more additional work. But we took the first steps and we just have to take some more. :) The individual skills of the team contribute well to the project. Since there's more than one person working on the project, the team members don't need to try to do everything. Each member can work on their specialty. If that is optmized, then the project will run smoothly.

And there are also some not-so-good-points. A great factor is the adjustment on the schedule. SInce it's the first week for OJT, we were still trying to see how we adjust. I can also remember one night that I didn't accomplish anything that's Drupal related - because I accidentally slept for a long period when I'm just supposed to take a nap for a few minutes. :p I think there are also times when there's little coordination. We mostly work on our own when tasks are already distributed (or maybe it's just me?). Well, yeah, I think it's just me. :)) Because when a task was given, I often concentrate on my task and spend a little time on other things. I thinks that's not so good and I have to be a little versatile.

I think this first project shaped up our Drupal muscles and filled our web arsenal for future projects.
