Teaching Others.

I've now got early teenage nephews and neices from my wife's sister. They live in the Philippines. I will be vacationing there for 2 weeks. The eldest boy has shown interest in following in my footsteps. I'm hoping in 2 weeks I can teach him a few things to get him started. I also plan to research outsourcing IT options in the Philippines while I'm there.

Maybe I will buy another computer that the boy can code on. I'm going to teach him PHP since PHP and an Xitami web server are such a lightweight install and most of the programming concepts are covered. I put together a CD with over 30 ebooks and the various Java , PHP, Web server installs. Hopefully, we can get far with it. I'll consider it a good vacation if we do.
